The XTrack Inventory System is available as a stand-alone application or as part of the XTrack Accountability Sytem. The XTrack Inventory System is a package that will provide you with everything you need to bring mobile electronic control of your inventory whether it is in one or multiple locations, even on trucks and other vehicles. Using a handheld mobile computer XTrack integrates the power of bar code technology into the inventory process. This allows you to perform inventory functions where the items are. The data is passed to the XTrack desktop application which serves as the master database. From the desktop application the data can be stored, printed into reports or exported to other applications.
On the handheld computer XTrack Inventory gives you the ability to receive items, issue items to stations/locations and to perform physical inventory counts.
Receive
With XTrack Inventory you can receive items as they arrive at the point of arrival. Whether you have a central storage location or store items in many locations you can use the receive function to quickly and accurately enter items into inventory. Use existing barcode numbers or add new ones on the fly as you receive. All items received are reflected back in the XTrack Desktop Application.
Issue
When you distribute items within the department or station house XTrack Inventory makes it easy to track the movement of inventory. XTrack allows you to issue items from Station/location to another location or even assign them to a person for items like bunker gear. If you have a central distribution center you can issue items from that center to any Station, Location or Person within that department. XTrack will even tell you what locations currently have that item so you can decide which location is best to move it from. All items issued or moved are reflected back in the XTrack Desktop Application.
Physical Inventory Count
XTrack Inventory also allows you to perform cycle or inventory counts by station, location and compartment. XTrack will tell you what should be in that compartment and scanning the items will confirm what is there. The inventory will be updated back in the desktop application. Items can be marked for scheduled maintenance and the user will be alerted on the XTrack handheld.
Inventory reports are available in the XTrack Desktop application.
