XTrack Firefighter Accountability System
The XTrack unit is customizable, allowing for user-defined Sector
Locations, Teams, and Personnel ID's. Teams can be staged and
launched as a single unit or dispersed in singles or pairs. The XTrack unit also signifies the beginning and end of a fire. XTrack
can be used to record multiple incidents or fires. When you end a
fire XTrack will let you know if there are any firefighters not scanned
out of the system and still in the fire. The fire data remains in
the XTrack unit until you upload it to XTrack desktop application. At that time it
can safely be deleted from XTrack. XTrack has a PC-based application that serves as the master database for all personnel, incident and inventory information. A simple synching process updates the information between the handheld computer and the XTrack desktop application. XTrack is a data storage resource for your station. It will keep all of your personnel data as well as a full audit trail of your run/incident report information. XTrack will even create run/incident reports that you can email to state, city or department officials to satisfy legislation or budget requirements. XTrack Inventory System A large part of a well run station is knowing where all of your equipment, materials and assets are. Now included with every XTrack purchase is XTrack Inventory. Utilizing the same XTrack handheld computer you can barcode your inventory or use a parts binder, then use the XTrack unit to scan your assets. XTrack Inventory will tell you what items are supposed to be in each Compartment of each Location, use the scanner to find out what is actually there, what is lost and what has been moved. Then upload the data to XTrack Desktop application where the master inventory is kept. You can check your inventory as often as you like. Perform inventory counts for the entire station, by location, or even by compartment and update the master inventory on your PC. From XTrack you can produce several inventory reports, by location, lost or missing items. XTrack Inventory is the perfect tool to keep your station running smoothly. XTrack is the very intuitive accountability system software
on a Psion Teklogix Workabout PRO WinCE rugged handheld computer designed to be used
at the fire scene. XTrack is part of an overall personnel
accountability system implemented by a fire department. XTrack is
a powerful tool to allow the Incident Commander to fulfill his
responsibility for overall personnel accountability. XTrack offers the
Accountability Officer on site the ability to electronically monitor all personnel in the fire
scene. Personnel are issued barcoded tags that contain company and
personal information. These tags are scanned by the Incident
Commander as each fire fighter enters or leaves
Location Sectors within the incident. In addition to personnel
location and status, XTrack tells the Incident Commander what equipment is being used
and how much air those inside have left. The incident commander is
immediately notified if a firefighter is in the hot
zone over their time limit or is out of air, thereby allowing early
warning of any accidents.
